"The Lauriston Blend" came about from the usual his + hers + ours situation.

Together, Clair, Ben and their 6 kids, moved to Lauriston;

nestled in the Macedon Ranges of Victoria early in 2019 in search for somewhere to settle down and call home.

​

Ben works in building and construction and Clair is a wedding photographer and landscape designer/horticulturist but both share a love and passion for country living, homesteading, and a good red wine. 

​

Wanting to document their journey to homesteading and sustainable living;

along with share how other's too can live a more intentional life, DIYing their way to a dream home, they started

"The Lauriston Blend"

You'll often find Ben and Clair with the kids in the garden, with Rusty and Maisie their border collies; Kevin the peacock and the many many free range chickens and ducks foraging.

Clair likely has messy hair and dirt under her nails that carry around her favourite coffee mug.

Whilst Ben is rarely seen without a tool in his hands and flanney on.
